On a mission to find great views with limited mobility

My name is Matt and after having multiple knee surgeries my relationship with the outdoors has fundamentally changed.  I'm no longer able to hike along the long, steep, challenging trails that I once enjoyed.  Nature is a large part of my life and not being able to enjoy the outdoors as I once had was devastating.

In my search to find accessible trails, I quickly found that there were not many resources available.  I've since made it my mission to help those who would like to enjoy the outdoors, but may not have the physical ability to make it along difficult trails.

Embracing my new hiking reality has opened up a whole new world of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.  I created Hopalong Hiker because I believe that everybody can enjoy the beauty of nature, especially those with limited mobility.
